These general terms and conditions shall apply to the Customer's bookings of travel through Avisita, unless otherwise stated in the confirmation.
The customer is responsible for checking that all information in the confirmation, such as dates, names, and booked travel products, matches the request. Any inaccuracies must be reported to Avisita immediately.
Booking of travel
Through our partner Skärhamns Resebyrå, Avisita offers booking of trains, flights, boats, and rental cars with domestic and international travel providers, as well as related travel agency services such as visa services. You contact Avisita for booking and receive confirmation, tickets, and travel documents through us.
The names and contact details of the travelers must be provided to Avisita at the time of booking. Travel documents will be sent to the email address provided at the time of booking.
Price
The price to be paid by the Customer for the booked products is indicated in the Customer's confirmation.
If the Customer engages Avisita with a request and has confirmed the request, but then chooses not to complete the booking via Avisita, but completes the booking with another supplier, or directly itself, Avisita reserves the right to charge the Customer for work done according to the principle of current account according to the current price list. However, if Avisita cannot deliver according to the confirmed booking request, Avisita does not have the right to charge for work done.
Cancellation and changes
Bookings can be changed or canceled in accordance with the current travel provider's terms and conditions and will be charged according to the travel provider's (e.g., airline) price list.
Avisitas charges a fee for each booking transaction in accordance with the current price list. The fee is charged per person and occasion for booking, changing, and canceling.
In the event of cancellation and where travel documents and invoices have already been issued, the trip will be credited in accordance with the travel provider's rules.
Booking fees will not be credited.
Changes must always be made to Avisita, not to our partner.
Avisita is entitled, but not obliged, to charge for administrative work throughout the booking process according to the current price list, for example, that the Customer engages Avisita for administrative work beyond what is considered reasonable to include. Charging shall be agreed with the Customer.
Terms of payment
All bookings are paid by the Customer against an invoice issued in accordance with the payment terms specified in the framework contract, unless otherwise agreed in the confirmation. If the invoice is not paid in accordance with the payment terms, the Customer is not entitled to use the booked trip. The Customer is responsible for ensuring that
Avisita receives the correct information for issuing the invoice.
Payment model and terms are stated in the confirmation. Depending on the scope and nature of the booking, Avisita applies three different payment models:
Deposit – part of the total value of the booking is invoiced and paid in advance
Advance payment – part or all of the booking is invoiced and paid in advance
Deferred payment – part or all of the booking is invoiced and paid in arrears
Force majeure
Skärhamns Resebyrå is not responsible for delays/damages caused by legal provisions, official measures or injunctions: acts of war, strikes, lockouts, boycotts, blockades or other similar circumstances/events.

Avisita is open on weekdays 8:00-17:00. Deviating opening hours can be found here.
If you need assistance outside of Avisita's opening hours, Skärhamns Resebyrå offers an on-call service via telephone +46 703 671996. The on-call service is staffed by employees from Skärhamns Resebyrå's office. The on-call service is charged according to the current price list.
